Raising Fundraising to a Higher Level

We see ourselves as a family oriented restaurant and have recognized that a measure of our success is based on what we can give back to the community.  We help support the athletic program at some local schools and have developed fund raising events to benefit schools and other organizations. 

There are two methods of fundraising techniques used by Mamma's Cucina that have proven very effective:

•1-               Gift Certificates

Our idea involves the sale of gift certificates to Mamma's Cucina.  Unlike coupon/discount books, our plan would require that each child only sell  five - $25 gift certificates, your return being $25.00 per child...a 20% return!

As an example, if you had 200 children selling five certificates you would raise $5000. The consumer buying the certificate receives full value for helping out your organization.

Mom and Dad will love this plan, as there are only 5 Gift Certificates to sell.

•2-               Italian Nite

These fund raising events are manifested as a gathering of a group of students/parents, or  members and friends, at Mamma's Cucina for a special dinner.  Since the patrons are there for a common cause they tend to know each other and have a lot in common, turning the occasion into a social event that is enjoyed by all. 

A percentage of the sales is donated to the organization and they receive a check the very next day.   These events can be scheduled intermittently and over the course of a year may amount to several thousand dollars.

Both of these plans are a WIN - WIN for everyone involved!
